For Orders of $175.00 and up – Shipping is FREE

Orders less than $175.00 – there is a flat Shipment Fee of $35.00

We ship in the continental United States however we are unable to serve certain states due to the distance and travel time of perishable products. These include the far Western states of California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and the far Northeastern states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts.

All meat cuts are vacuum seal packaged and shipped frozen in a heavily insulated container which is boxed with gel ice packs. Most orders arrive frozen but depending on transit time and the time of year there may be some slight thawing when received. Starting to thaw is much colder than a refrigerator. If the order is thawed when received you will want to check the temperature. The best method for doing this is to place a digital meat cooking thermometer in between two packages pressed together. To be safe, the temperature of the meat should be less than 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

Once you receive your package care should always be taken to immediately unpack your order and either place items in the freezer or thaw to prepare.  It is generally acceptable to refreeze any shipped product that is received thawed.

All orders are shipped UPS Ground. Once your order is shipped you will receive email notifications directly from UPS: 

SHIPPED - email when the package is picked up and scanned in to the UPS system

DELIVERY EXCEPTION - email notifying you of any shipping delays and how it impacts the delivery of your package

DELIVERED - email notice of package delivery

Orders are sent with a “Shipper Release” – meaning that UPS is authorized to LEAVE the package at your given address without a signature (to prevent delays in delivery). It is the customer’s responsibility to know that an address is suitable for a package being left with no signature.

All orders MUST HAVE a physical address for delivery (no Post Office Boxes).

Destinations can determine ship date: All shipments are from our Grandview, Texas location.  Orders are typically shipped the same business day they are received (orders received by 3 pm CST) although the destination or product availability may affect the ship date. Ship dates are chosen to provide the best possible chance of receiving product in a quality state.  Despite best efforts, many variables can occur after shipment that may impact the quality of the received product.  General shipment days are as follows:

1. Orders placed Thursday-Sunday generally ship the following Monday. *If Monday is a federal holiday, UPS is closed and shipment will be on Tuesday

2. Orders placed Monday-Wednesday generally ship same day if received by 3pm CST or ship the following business day.  UPS estimated transit time may effect ship day. Any shipment with an estimated delivery day of Friday will wait to be shipped the following week

3. Shipments generally not sent on Thursdays or Fridays

4. Weeks with federal holidays may impact ship day
