We offer chickens raised by Mike and Connie Hale of Windy Meadow Farms in Campbell, Texas and the John Mehaffey Family 'Preferred Bird of Texas' pastured chicken raised in Milam County, Texas.
What we call TRUE FREE RANGE - is that the chickens do have daily access to pasture, and pastures are rotated so they always have good availability to forage and insects - a critical element to their natural diet that is missing in today's commercial chicken. For those with grain sensitivities - the chickens are fed a grain mix that does contain some corn and soy. There are absolutely no antibiotics or any other unnatural additives in the grain.

Raw Milk Cheeses from Pastured Cows (#9_4_15)
From a family-run pasture-based dairy in Kemp, Texas this is cheese at it’s most natural and nutritious. Cheese artisans Mike and Debbie Samms milk a small number of cows and make the cheese right on their farm. 95% of their cow’s diet is pasture grasses – with only a 5% supplementation of grain. And of course they use no BST or other additives.
All the aged cheeses are made from raw milk. Spreads and mozzarella must be pasteurized by law.
